Hope Team Ninja will do better on the next Game. Yet I don't think I'll touch Wo Long again after beating the final boss.I really wish I would've waited for the Reviews and could refund the game, wich really saddens me to admit. I platinumed every Fromsoftgame and their DLCs, same for both Nioh games and def played them Up and down, back and forth for thousands of hours. Even the always repeating enemies where WAY more fun in the Nioh Games. My greatest disapointment really is in the forgettable, unbalanced, one-way-approach and boring combat. They tried mixing up the Nioh formula with sekiro, wich could have been a good Idea, If they wouldn't have kicked out everything that made Nioh 1 + 2 Special and different from the other soulsborne titles. Or you'll get punished by their Specials while you try poking away with your non-cancelable light attacks. Your melee-attacks won't do decent dmg, your Special moves will neither, even worse, in most scenarios you'll get punished by Bosses spamming their Specials whilst you perform yours. Wich was kind of fun during the first 10 hours, but when there is NO other way to beat any midgame and above Bosses, or duels vs the Story NPCs than to sit back, learn every parry window and spam that stuff, it get's old pretty fast. The Game really pushes you to adapt to the parry system. What we have instead are generic light attacks that can't be switched Up and 1 strong attack that's pretty much unviable to usw. Omnyo (Magic system) is in no way near as good as in the Nioh Games. Tho the Combat is very fluid, fast and can be fun (Sometimes), it's more than basic and really lackluster compared to what we had in Nioh 2: Jutsus are gone. But sadly what I got is a more than 3-steps-back from what I was looking for. Tbh I expected an improvement, or at least something as good as, Nioh 2. But sadly what Got to admit that I'm pretty dissapointed by Wo Long. Got to admit that I'm pretty dissapointed by Wo Long.
